Located on Springvale Road adjacent to the Century City Walk dining and entertainment complex, the Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley is a suburban hotel with all the offerings of a 4 star inner city hotel.
4 Travel Buddies enjoyed a staycation at the Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley on a Friday evening where we enjoyed dinner at the newly launched, The Butchers Bench restaurant, pre dinner drinks at the bar and slept in one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever experienced.
Ideal for business traveller who want to be close to the industrial areas in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne and only a 30 minute drive to the City, the Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley offers you the best of both worlds.
The check-in was smooth and the staff were attentive and explained the facilities and amenities available. Check in is at 2pm and check-out at 11am allows you plenty of time to try out the buffet breakfast!
This humming hotel has restaurants, Village Cinemas and Strike Bowling at its doorstep, but if we can give you one tip make sure you dine at least one night at The Butchers Bench.
So what about the rooms? When travelling to new destinations 4 Travel Buddies enjoy getting out and seeing the sites but we have to admit that a hotel room is very important to us as we do enjoy a bit of luxury and the 2 rooms we stayed in did not disappoint. The rooms are fresh with clean lines and have the signature Novotel interior of white with a splash of colour. We were delighted to find a personalised welcome card from the Manager along with a thoughtful gift of handmade chocolates.
The beds were amazingly comfortable and the pillow menu catered to all our needs ensuring we were comfortable when sleeping. The all white bathrooms are pristine with body wash, hand soap and shampoo replenished daily.
There is a fitness centre, heated pool and sauna in the basement, so after you have overindulged you can work it off with the fantastic recreational facilities.
