If it is luxury in a prime location you are looking for then The Trans Resort in Seminyak is the perfect place for your next stay in Bali. It is truly a haven in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Seminyak.
In January 2016 all 4 Travel Buddies were delighted to spend 8 nights at The Trans Resort. From the moment you step into the foyer you know you are about to experience something special. Nothing is too much for the staff who are always friendly and remember your name from check-in to check-out.
Located on Jl. Sunset Road, Seminyak we found we were close enough to walk to all the fabulous restaurants and shops along Jl Kayu Aya (also known as Eat Street), and could also retreat behind the large wall surrounding the property relax and unwind in the sanctuary of the resort
We won’t lie a big selling point for us was the sand flown in from the Whitsundays Queensland, Australia which gives you the feeling that you are lying on the most pristine beach. There are ample sun lounges on the pure white sand which leads into a shallow pool for the kids to enjoy. The two pools on the property are separated by a raised water walkway. The main pool does not have as many sun lounges but you can sit at tables just outside of the restaurant whilst enjoying a drink or a bite to eat before taking a dip in the pool. Although there is no swim up bar (which is planned for the future) there are ample beverage options and promotions available with the Restaurant that opens to the spectacular pool area with plenty of pool serving attendants.
Beautiful is an understatement when describing the Premier Rooms. The beds are large and comfortable and there is a pillow menu which caters to all your pillow needs. The welcome fruit and complimentary bottled water all adds to making The Trans Resort that extra bit special compared to the other hotels/resorts. Oh and did we mention each of the Premier Rooms has a Jacuzzi bath and day bed on the balcony? And yes we did use it and quite a number of times! The marble bathroom with the amazing imported Aqua di Parma toiletries are replenished daily, the huge bathtub and separate shower adds to the magnificence of this room. And what sets The Trans Resort in the luxury category for us was the turn down service and the cleaning of your room twice a day.
We lapped up the luxury at the Day Spa with its eight elegantly appointed rooms including two Royal couple rooms with Jacuzzi where we indulged in 60 and 90 minute massages, full body scrubs and the decadent experience of a wine bath, leaving us glowing and relaxed. The staff at the spa were wonderful and the sweet ginger tea and coconut biscuit after your treatment is a lovely touch.
The resort also has one of the most spectacular viewing Rooftop Bars in Bali which provides 270 degree views towards the ocean from Uluwatu to Tana Lot offering amazing sunsets and a truly “chill out” ambience.
We were lucky enough to view one of the amazing sixteen Villas situated at the rear of the resort close to the Day Spa. There are not enough adjectives to describe the pure luxury of these one bedroom villas so will let our photos do the talking….
